Free Yoga Class for Teens
Starting June 30th
Mondays – Teen Yoga Camp
Yoga is an excellent form of physical exercise and it fosters a positive self image! The beginning postures we teach will strengthen and tone muscles while improving flexibility and balance. Yoga can be practiced by everybody. It's especially beneficial for athletes, dancers, and gymnasts.

The Teen Yoga Camp will be held on Mondays, starting June 30th at 3:00 pm and run through the end of August. Teens can start at anytime and they are not required to attend every class. It will be a 60 minute class practiced in a slightly heated environment. Your teen should wear light comfortable clothing and come on an empty stomach. Bring a towel and bottle of water. Parents will need to sign a permission form prior to teens taking class. All of our instructors have been certified to teach yoga and they are donating their time and energy to work with teens as karma yoga.

Fridays – Teen Yoga Clinic
Your teen may be selected to join us for a special class in preparation for the 6th Annual Texas Yoga Asana Championship. The Teen Yoga Clinic will be held on Fridays, starting July 13th at 3:00 pm. It will be a 60 minute class taught by Joseph Encinia, the 2007-2008 Texas Yoga Asana Men's Champion. Your teen will receive one-on-one instruction from Joseph to refine their yoga postures and prepare them to participate in the 6th Annual Texas Yoga Asana Championship this fall. This is the first year there will be a youth division and finalists will travel to Los Angeles for the International Yoga Championship held in early 2009.
